Lovely Chicago afternoon. Here I am, sitting in My room, lounging around and downloading music, drinking spearmint tea, smelling My armpits. My house is spotless-clean once again thanks to a new pet who is proving himself to be quite trainable!

Here is a list of food I want to make that I wrote down in My notebook sometime a while ago when I was bored and/or hungry. I LOVE to cook. Some of them are pretty normal, and some of them sound insane. That’s ok; I’m insane.

wild fennel ice cream
red bean panna cotta
jasmine panna cotta
black truffle goat’s milk ice cream
puff pastry with leeks, chevre, black pepper
black truffle risotto
bean curd salad with cucumbers, yogurt, anise
arugula and shaved zucchini salad with pine nuts and turmeric
lavender creme brulee
mussels steamed in white wine then baked on the half shell with parsley mayonnaise
oyster mushroom and leek soup with tofu skin
wild rice cake with dried shrimp mayonnaise
mini eggs benedict: use quail eggs. grav lax. spinach.
steamed nori rolls filled with miso, cream, shiitake, mint
sesame mayonnaise: use sesame oil and add seeds. and garlic
mussels baked with bechamel
buttermilk with dill and honey
dolmades with figs and pine nuts
slow-roasted heirloom tomato impregnated with balsamic vinegar
truffle aioli
parsnip fries!
finnish mustard
peach-butternut squash soup, yogurt and mint, cardamom, turmeric, gorgonzola.
buckwheat crepe with asparagus and hollandaise
lapsang souchong ice cream!

Lapsang souchong is a tea that smells and tastes just like smoke. I thought maybe a smoke & molasses ice cream would be delicious in the winter by the fireplace. Who wants to help Me open a restaurant?
